Editors note: This submission is from the blog of one L.Kidd, self professed wanderer and occasional contributor to Sierrabear. As I sit here my disdain for our current situation boils over and shoots like the steam from a locomotive, out of each of my frustrated pores.
The crying is the forefront of their attack. The first strike of annoyance on my senses. It's not the fault of the children, I choose to blame the parents. So here they sit; asking for this, telling their sob story, but I can see through them. I can see the sorry junkies at rock bottom begging for the assistance from the better off. Smiling faces hoping that they can get their fix tonight and hopefully the state's assistance will feed their children, because those wastes of life and I both know that they can't.
-Short and sweet, this is how I spent the better part of my thursday in Tuolumne County. I'm not sure if its worth sharing but I'lll leave that up to you to decide. - L. Kidd
