I never intended on writing something like this. I think that this is probably the most important thing for anyone who’s reading this to know, because it’s consistent with the rest of the story. I never meant to write this, I never meant to meet any of the friends that I met, and I never meant for those friendships to turn out the way that they did. For better or for worse, however, they did – and I never intended to be so blessed. Being young is a full time job, but it’s only temporary.

Sonora, Ca -- In my search for a political stance that is consistent with my concepts of justice, fairness, power, and voice, as well as my religious beliefs, I often find myself at odds with those who categorize themselves as liberals because of my religious and moral stance; but just as often I find myself at odds with those who share (or at least profess to do so) similar religious beliefs because of my views regarding power, justice, fairness, and voice. I do not believe that I am an anomaly: I think that there are probably quite a few people who feel disillusioned with the religious right, yet alienated from many of those who call themselves liberals.
